“In His Time…”

“In His Time…”

Waiting, and being patient while we wait, is not always easy. We live in an instant society. Modern-day technology has served us well, but it has also left us paralyzed with the inability to “wait” without murmuring and complaining. Nevertheless, no matter how “fast” man can accomplish certain tasks, it cannot ever change GOD’s ways, purpose, and plan for mankind…”Stand Still and See the Salvation of the Lord.” (Exodus 14:13)

Face it, standing still and being patient while God moves on a situation, matter, or person can cause the most patient of saints to cringe just a little. We want God to “hurry up” and make things right or resolve the matter as quickly as possible. We don’t like discomfort, because we are a society of comfort. It may be difficult to understand this concept, but God is more interested in building our Faith than He is in making us feel comfortable!

As hard as we might try to please God with our efforts, the Bible teaches us, “Without faith it is impossible to please God…” (Hebrews 11:6). And, the Bible also teaches us that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1). While we are “waiting” for that particular situation, matter, or person to change, God is changing us! He is strengthening us and conditioning us to place our HOPE and FAITH in GOD who will take care of things in HIS time and in HIS way; not ours. That’s not always an easy lesson or standard to learn and accomplish…We must learn to wait on God and not try to “fix” things ourselves. The Bible is filled with examples of where “man” tried to “fix” things only to make them worse or create even a bigger mess.

Today, you may be “waiting” on God to fix or resolve a matter. If so, I want to encourage you to “Stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord.” Stand steady in your Faith. Stand steady in your prayers. Stand steady in your faithfulness…And, you are never standing taller in the presence of God than when you are bending your knees in prayer! The Psalmist said, “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. (Psalm 27:14). Remember, ALL things work together for those who love the Lord who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)…”In His Time…” “In His Time…” Amen…

Remember (while you are waiting) that GOD LOVES YOU!

In His Time…

In His Time…

To Everything there is a season, and a purpose under the heaven.

(Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Hurry up; and wait…That’s seems to be the “norm” for most things in life. Oh, how we often want things to happen when, where, and how we desire. But, if you have lived on planet Earth for any reasonable length of time you have learned that getting what you want when you want it rarely occurs. Even in our “instant” micro-second society “good things still come to those who wait.”
Learning how to wait with integrity and dignity is still an admirable quality in one’s life. I know of no one who “waited” on God more earnestly than Abraham and Sarah. After being visited by the Angel of the Lord, Abraham was instructed that Sarah would bring forth a child who would “bless” the entire world. But, after waiting nearly twenty years Sarah’s patience ran out. So, she designed a plan to “help” God out with His promise. Oh, how many times have I tried to help God out! But, God didn’t need Sarah’s help. And, he doesn’t need mine either! Sarah executed her plan, but it didn’t stop God from executing His. At 90 years old, Sarah gave birth to a son just as the Angel of the Lord had said.
Likewise, God wants to bring about His promises into our lives each and every day. But, too many times we get ahead of God and try to “fix” things ourselves. And, just like Sarah we often “inherit” a life-long challenge as a result! The Bible teaches us, “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”(Galatians 6:9). Relying on “Patience” is actually carrying out “well doing.” Don’t let the word “patience” fool you. It may sound like a passive action, but in actuality it takes stronger, often more determined self-control, and even greater strength to WAIT than to do anything else! I have learned that I am “doing something” when I am “waiting on God!”
Waiting on God involves “spiritual warfare.” The enemy hates nothing more than to see a Christian waiting on God. He moves in with as many “earthly” solutions and suggestions as he possible can. He taunts and laughs at us while we sit back and wait for God to move in the matter. Far too often, like Sarah, we give in to those suggestions. But, God still “rewards” those who firmly plant their feet into God’s good soil and wait for His harvest!
My friend, I encourage you today that if you are “waiting” for God, keep on keeping on until HE arrives on the scene. God is never too early, but He is never too late! In His Time He’s always Right on Time! “Who Are We Really Trying to Impress?”

I’m struggling right now between two different titles for today’s blog, Who Are We Really Trying to Impress?”  And, “God, What Do You Really Want Me To Do?”  Strange titles, right?  Let me explain:

First, today (actually Sunday Oct. 2, 2005-2012) marks the 7th anniversary from the brain aneurysm I suffered.  For those who know me best, they know that I was at church when it happened.  I was deeply engaged in the Sweet, Sweet Spirit of the Lord when out of nowhere, “Bloom!”  And, I mean BLOOM!  It hit me like a ball bat to the back of my head, and the days following were ones of intense concern for me, my family, and my doctors alike…

However, not feeling lead to go into a whole lot of details in this particular blog, let’s just say that God obviously came on the scene and after nine days in ICU at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, and one very delicate embolization coiling procedure, I was home. Praise the Lord…But, what about things since that day?

Oh, my friend…what a journey God and I have had together…Once again, as those who know me best…the first aneurysm was not to be my last brain injury….Five years later on August 17, 2010, the second artery on the left side of my brain spontaneously dissected and bled into the back of my brain causing a slight, small stroke….Life changed again, but this time even more permanent…But, what about things since that day?

Oh, my friend…what a journey God and I have had together…Out of those two experiences came my book, “Break Away,” and my blog site by the same title…

Why the title, “Break Away?” Seriously, I don’t know, except that God had given me the title way back when I was in my early 20’s just starting to develop the plot for my book…However, last year, He (God) revealed to me that He had chosen the title, Break Away,” because he wanted people to know that they would first have to “Break Away” from everything around them (tradition, influences, personal thoughts, philosophies, as well as this one and that one…) to fully trust HIM and HIS Word in ALL Things; in order to help make better sense of life and who we are in Christ Jesus!  And, for the past two years (especially after the second injury!!) I have been doing just that!!!

So, what about today’s blog…Why am I struggling between two themes?  Well, in some ways I believe the two actually tie together…Recently, I asked myself this question,  “Why are Christians always trying to impress God, and one another?”  And,“God, What Do You Really Want Me To Do?”

Finding an answer for the first question is easier than finding the answer to the second!  Let me ask you a question:  Can you imagine how tired God is from all of “us” Christians going around trying to impress Him with our lives?  I mean He is GOD…How impressed can He actually get from watching or knowing any of us!!  Yes; He Loves us…Don’t get me wrong…He Loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for us so that we might Live with Him!  (John 3:16)…I’m not talking about the “Love” of the Father….I’m talking about our “SO-CALLED” sweet and innocent intentions of impressing God with our this’s and our that’s  (Wow! Not very good English from an English teacher! lol!)  But, you get the gist…

So, what is God actually wanting from His children?  (This is the part that ties into the second title, “God ,What Do You Really Want?”)  Well, I’m certainly no expert in the matter, but I believe far above anything else in life, God wants our sincerity, truth, and honesty.  He wants a person who is willing to go the extra mile for being truthful and honest about who we really are and how we really live within our daily walk….Get it??!!  King David was that type of person and God called him, “The Apple of My Eye.”  Oh, to be called the Apple of God’s Eye!!  God Loves Truth!  And, he loves those who live by Truth!  Jesus said, “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the Life!!

Honestly, I feel I could write a book from this point…But, not now….For the most part, I feel that a good many Christians only use God to get what they feel they want and need in this life…I mean we all LOVE God when everything is going our way and we are surrounded by friends and family who just “oueeee” and “aah” over every little motion we make; much like grandparents over a grandchild….But, Oh my friend…What happens when we truly find ourselves all ALONE in a matter and no one is there to “ouee” and “aah,” and for the most part adversity has parked its RV in our driveway and refuses to leave!!!

It’s during down times when you feel as if everyone you know is having fun at the county fairground going higher and higher on the ferris-wheel-of-life with their best friend while you are stuck at home cleaning your dirty oven and darning socks that really stinks!!  When loneliness, and the high volume of sound that accompanies loneliness, constantly shouts out its present like Big Ben ticking away in your head!  And, sometimes even when loneliness comes and resides within when you are surrounded by a hundred people…You just feel all alone on the inside!! I know…I know… Those days, weeks, months, and perhaps years when it seems that no one actually gets you or quite understands you…Or, even wants to!  Those desert-storm times and periods in each of our lives….Oh yea…It’s called LIFE!!

I think God understands…Actually, I know He does…We are all like children in one form or another…We all want to be loved, valued, respected, seen, and heard!  Come on…you can admit it…We all long for those wonderful feelings of being accepted and appreciated…What wife doesn’t like to hear the sentence, “Hon, that was a good meal.”  Or, what dad doesn’t like to hear, “Thanks, Pop, You’re the best.”  Or, what child doesn’t like to hear, “Well, done! I’m proud of you.”  And, for the most part, most of us enjoy our accolades with a little added, “attaboy pats,” pecks on the cheek (from those we love!) , and kind, sincere, gentle hugs….xxx’s and ooo’s!

Getting closer to God allows us to understand such needs in our lives…And, it helps us to understand that those needs are there for a purpose…They are put into our lives for us to seek God’s filling…and not that of the world or from others….(As well meaning as “others” wish to be.)  As one author stated, “When you get down to knowing that God is ALL you have, then you realize that God is all you need!”

But, in actuality, we do have God and we will always need God…Yet; because God does love us, He has also given us so many wonderful things to enjoy in this life…mainly….Life….Life Itself!  Oh, the JOYS of simply living in both the good and the bad…For one day, the bad will all be gone and we will be engulfed with  the Goodness of God forever and ever…and ever!  Hallelujah! What a Day That Will Be!!!

Instead of trying to impress God….Just be impressed by God, with God, and in God!!!

So, today, why not just be “impressed” with the fact that God loves you unconditionally; just as you are….No strings attached…And, the next time you need to ask God, “What Do You Really Want Me To Do,”  the answer simply might be….”Nothing at all child…Just be patient and wait on Me!”

Remember, God Loves You (And, me!)

The Promises of God…

The Promises of God…

And, behold, I AM with thee…(Genesis 28:15)

What keeps us, as believers in God and Christ Jesus, doubting and not believing that God is right beside us in every matter, circumstance, and situation within our lives?  Why do we feel at times that we have been abandoned, left all alone, completely misunderstood by friend and foe alike, and in despair without hope or remedy when things aren’t going our way; especially for long extended periods of time?

Can you only imagine how Abraham and Sarah really felt as year after year passed by without the slightest sign of a child being born unto them, after God had promised Abraham that he would become the Father of Many Nations?  Can you understand why Sarah decided to take matters into her own hands and “make” the situation or “promise” happen faster by giving her handmaiden, Haggai, to know Abraham and birth him a child thinking that this would “help” God’s promise come about?  As if God needed her help? Oh, how that human interference resonates even today!  God, have mercy.

But, aren’t we all pretty much the same way?  How  many times have I possibly interfered with God’s plan for my own life believing I was “helping” God out in the matter?  How many choices have I made believing that “my” choices would bring about God’s will sooner, quicker, faster, and smoother?

Ours being an “instant” society and an impatient generation, don’t you believe Sarah did pretty well waiting two whole decades or longer before she finally gave in and decided to take matters into her own hands…Sadly, I do…Don’t you?  We all have a tenancy to take some sort of “action” or “reaction” in matters pertaining to our own lives within a few minutes, hours, days, or weeks…Waiting as long as she did was actually pretty amazing!!  We all have to admit that “waiting” for God’s plan to unfold and reveal itself is not always our strongest virtue!

God’s Promises…Waiting on God’s Promises…Have you ever thought about God’s Shield of Faith mentioned in Ephesians chapter six?  The type of armour the Apostle Paul was referring was not wimpy pieces of attire that just any old average person could put on and wear…The six pieces of armour were very heavy weighing several pounds a piece…Then, one would have to “hold up” a thirty pound shield moving it around and placing it over the area of the body to which the enemy was attacking and quickly moving it to another area as the enemy made another jab after  another jab…Exhausting to say the least!!!  Spiritual Warfare is NOT for wimps!

For a Christian to gird up and put on his or her daily Spiritual battle attire and gear, it takes believing faith and practicing faith in believing in God’s Promises that HE WILL NEVER LEAVE NOR FORSAKE US EVEN WHEN EVERYONE ELSE AROUND US HAS DESERTED US AND IS FAR GONE!  AN “All alone FAITH” requires a Greater FAITH!  Amen…

I would personally imagine that Abraham’s wife, Sarah felt all alone in her circumstances and situation…After all, it was she who was married to Abraham who had been promised by God a “seed” that would one day become the Father of many nations!  How was she to know that she would be in her 90’s before GOD determined to bring forth his great PROMISE!

We all have a tendency at times to believe if God doesn’t show up and show out within a reasonable amount of time that He has either forgotten all about us or His promises are simply not true…Yes; we, in fact, call God a liar within our hearts and minds and through our actions and reactions…God, Forbid and Have Mercy on ALL of US who become weak and weakened at times in our faith regarding your Divine Promises…

GOD IS FAITHFUL, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. (I Corinthians 1:9 KJV).  On most days, if not every day, it would do us all good to exercise our Faith in God’s promises….Perhaps quote out loud the many promises of God that HE has bestowed upon His children…Gird up the loins of our mind in His promises!

Satan is a liar and the very father of lies…He is relentless in his efforts to get us to doubt our Heavenly Father’s promises…And, he (Satan) uses “time” as one of his favorite tools of doubt. He feeds our minds with thoughts such as,  “Well, the problem is still here…I don’t see God doing anything about it. If you want it to change, you better do it yourself, or it’ll be the same old way in a week, month, or year from now…Do you really want to wait that long and keep going on like this…If God really cared He’d do something by now…So, go ahead make that call, send that letter, tell that person what you really think and how you really feel… You need to stand up for yourself; no body else will…”    Oh, how we ALL fight such temptations and lies from Satan!

Yes; , the many “lies, lies, and lies” Satan haunts us  with day in and day out…No wonder so many of us give into his lies and take matters into our own hands…We “grow weary in well-doing.”  But, oh, how we regret when we do!  And, how we live “wishing”  ( perhaps for the rest of our lives)  that we hadn’t said this… or done that!  Sadly, I can relate to Sarah, can you?   But, let us learn to trust God and trust in His promises!

GOD IS FAITHFUL…And, HE will restore, repair, and remake our lives as we “learn” to trust more and WAIT upon the Lord…Today, both you and I can believe in God’s promises of assurance that He will neither leave nor forsake us…He will be with us even until the end…Hold HIGH your Shield of Faith over every area of doubt in your life…For the PROMISES OF GOD STAND TRUE AND FAITHFUL…JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING….AMEN!

Remember, God Loves You!

Storm? Or, Trial?

Storm? Or, Trial?

Knowing this, that the trying (trial) of your faith worketh patience…Let patience have her perfect (maturing) work, that ye may be perfect (matured) and entire; wanting nothing (fully trusting in God)…(James 1:4 KJV)

There are over two-thousand, two-hundred active storms circling our planet each day.  Storms also blow into and out of our lives: physical, emotional, and spiritual storms.  Storms, no matter their size or destructive forces, have a way of ending; ceasing…calming…They eventually “move” on…Praise the Lord!

But, what about a TRIAL?  Think about it…Some judicial trials end within a few hours while others can take weeks and weeks…Storms tend to leave a path of destruction, but typically in time the destroyed properties can be fixed or restored…If the storms are not too massive in size and nature…But, what about a trial?  In a TRIAL, a person’s life usually changes for the good or bad depending upon the outcome of a particular long-standing trail…

I have come to the conclusion that we, as Christians, sometime refer to ongoing, lengthy, hard-pressing, “unexpected” happenings and events as storms when in fact they are better described as TRIALS…Why?  Because trials last longer, go deeper, and their outcomes often change the heart, soul, mindset, and direction of our lives…

There have been many storms hit my life, as with many of you.  But, I have endured a rather long, ongoing, TRIAL in my life for many years now…It’s constant, daily, steady, continuous, oppressing, depressing, and weighty…Some days I can press onward with more strength than others…(The Joy of the Lord is my strength!)….However,  on some days the long, enduring, steady, and hurtful trial seems as if it is breathing down my neck and pressing me to the ground as if to say, “I’ve won…You’re defeated!”  …On those days, I MUST exercise a greater faith to keep my thoughts and mind from wanting to “do” something to bring about relief; even if the relief isn’t good for me or any other stake-holder involved!!..Those days are tough…On those days, you learn to simply press forward one micro-second at a time…

With “STORMS” there are usually encouraging signs of its ending or disipation…However, there are NO signs when a trial will ever end…You just keep enduring “it” until the day finally comes and the trial is past and over…A moment that we like to refer to as, “Breakthrough!”

I believe trials can be anything from long-term sicknesses, on-going relational problems that seem to never get better no matter what you do, areas in our lives that haunt us day in and day out no matter how many times we have prayed over them, claimed the blood of Christ over them, or rebuked Satan and all of his demons over them to leave us in the name of Jesus!  No matter what we do the next hour, the next day, the next week, the next month, the next year…the “trial” still haunts us…haunting trials…Lord, for YOUR strength we pray to endure haunting trials!

But, I am LEARNING something in my very own, personal, on-going trial…IT IS WORKING  INWARDLY and OUTWARDLY THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT in my life!!!  I am learning that LOVE,JOY, PEACE and PATIENCE (LONGSUFFERING) are fruits I can harvest and enjoy in the midst of my trial…I have learning that GENTLENESS (a calmed-spirit) and GOODNESS (choosing to do good in the face of adversity) are Fruits I can reap even when in distress…I am learning that FAITH (what I cannot see), MEEKNESS (the willingness to be a grateful, life-long, obedient learner),  and TEMPERANCE (maintaining self-control) are Fruits that Honor and exalt my Heavenly Father that I would otherwise not know anything about without “my” trial…

Oh, the far-reaching results of Trials within our lives…They can actually do a body good!  (If we let them produce the Fruit of the Spirit within our lives that God is trying to produce!)

No one likes to be on “trial.”  When we are on “trial,” we are usually examined and questioned about our motives and actions…That’s exactly what God is working out in our lives when we are in “trials.”  GOD is questioning our motives and actions…GOD is stirring up our heart’s plotted soil-of-life to bring forth HIS Fruit…So, that HE will be glorified and honored…Oh, the trials of life…

As the Apostle Paul teaches, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit…” What Spirit?  The Fruit of the Spirit as it is being worked inwardly and outwardly in our lives…Ah, but let “patience” have her perfect works…AMEN!!

Press on weary pilgrim; press on…For in doing so ye shall reap Fruit unto your souls…”That the TRIAL of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ!” (IPeter 1:7 KJV)…

Remember, God Does Love You!  (Even in the midst of the Trial….)

6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. (I Corinthians 12:6 KJV)

I sometimes stand in absolute amazement (not in a good way) at all of the adversity and conflict that exists among God’s people; good believing people.  Don’t get me wrong. There are absolute truths in God’s word that cannot, should not, and  must not be left to man’s own interpretion…God said it…That settles it…I’m not talking about that type of adversity/conflict…At least, on that one principle all Bible-believing Christians should stand united…God said it…That settles it.

But, what about the many diversities (differences of opinion and natures) of mankind?…Unfortunately, like many others, I have experienced and seen insurmountable amounts of adversity/conflict in my own life from differences of opinions and different biological make-ups of individuals. As a child, I witnessed my paternal grandfather and step-grandmother have major upheavals. I think the entire family lost count of the number of times they separated, divorced, and remarried before my grandfather died at 67 years old.  Sadly, my maternal grandparents also had major differences of opinions.  Actually, when you think about it what married couple doesn’t have adversity/conflicts to deal with and handle; some more than others? What family? What Company? What Nation?  What Race?  We all do…(Adversities and Diversities…of operations…)

Oh, how I wish we could all get alone with peace, kindness, and compassionate acts of love. But, we are too much like snowflakes…we are all different with many diversities within and without…I wonder sometimes how God has so patiently handled and put up with all of the adversities and conflicts He has witnessed since the creation of mankind…It has to be overbearing, overwhelming, and something that we, as humans, can never grasp or fully understand.  But, God is NOT human man…He is Superior…What is overbearing, overwhelming, and too big to grasp for mankind is well within His reach!  God sits on the Throne…He is NOT troubled one bit…That’s why He is God who worketh “all” in “all.”

Yet; while we were “yet” sinners God gave his son, Jesus Christ to die for us.  That is probably one of the most profound Biblical truths found in the Bible…Christ did not die for us because we were or ever will be totally good, pleasant, agreeable, easy-going, kind, or lovely…He died for us because we were sinning sinners filled with sinful thoughts and sinful ways…Because of who He is…is why we can sing, “Amazing Grace…” “Great is Thy Faithfulness…” and  “Praise be unto Thy name…”  Let’s face it, no ordinary “human” would sacrifice with such great love and acceptance…No one…Not one…None…Only Christ Jesus…

We live in a fallen world filled with fallen people struggling to make sense of it all…We want goodness; but badness sneaks right into our hearts and minds.  We want peace; yet war and strife fill our lives.  We want to do good; but bad just seems to come naturally…For by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world

Is there a solution?  Is there an answer?  “Yep;” as we often say in the South…There is an answer…We can fully Trust in the grace and mercy of Christ Jesus, put our faith in His righteousness, dust the dirt off of our knees, hands, and faces…and walk in the newness of life…A new, faith-filled day-to-day walk that includes falling down many times along the way…But, knowing, by faith, that when we give up…God holds on…When we want to throw in the towel..God brings us a canopy…When we feel defeated…God reminds us of Calvary…When we cry…God wipes away the tears…

Adversity/Conflict…I think they will always be with us in one way or another until we die or the Lord returns…But, how we handle adversity and conflict should be one major goal of the Christian life.  Do we let it take us farther away from God’s truths or move us closer?  God is wanting to build a one-on-one relationship with us so that when we face adversities we may know for certain that God remains and will always remain by our side…No matter the outcome…

In this life, I may be hated, not loved, misunderstood, despised, betrayed, and rejected by friends, family, peers, and loved-ones…Yet, it will NOT separate me from the Love of God….because God died for me while I was yet a sinner; not someone who was, is, or ever will be perfect…  It is the same God that worketh in us all…How? in diversities of operation!  We all simply act, think, and behave somewhat differently…no two are alike…Even in the Body of Christ…We are different and should accept those differences to help make us stronger and actually more united!

Today, you may be facing adversity/conflict like we all do…It hurts, deeply hurts, there’s no doubt about it…But, while chosing to face it with Faith is a challenge, it is also worth the choice…and the outcome…For in doing so, we are moving closer to God; not farther away…Amen…May you move closer to God today!

You Do Have a Choice…

You Do Have a Choice…

“…Choose you this day whom ye will serve; but as far as me and my household we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

This morning as I was pondering a rather unpleasant ongoing situation in my life, I thought to myself, “Well, I really don’t have a choice in the matter.”  No sooner than the words finished drifting through my thoughts…another concept flooded my mind with much more intensity and truth… “Yes, you do have a choice.”

Since I believe that one of the  works of the Holy Spirit is to lead, guide, direct, and instruct our lives in the Words of God, I knew that this more focused “thought” was from Him.  It wasn’t negative like my former reasonings, and it reminded me that I do have a choice in the matter…My choice?  Living each day allowing God to handle the matter instead of “me” trying to fix it!

Don’t kid yourself…leaving unpleasant, painful, and hurtful situations in God’s hands isn’t as easy as it perhaps sounds….It’s not as if we are just sitting idly by while “waiting” on God to “do” everything to make it all better!  No, it requires prayer, courage, strength, patience, hope, love, and faith on our part; ALL working together within our hearts and minds to give us PEACE in the matter….Seeking to discern God’s Spirit in a matter…and CHOOSING each day (sometimes minute by minute!) to have FAITH that God is working things out according to HIS plan and purpose involves and requires both constraint and restraint!  But, as Christians and through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, we can do it!!!

So, we do have a choice in ALL things in life…whether we recognize it or not.  The Book of Hebrews, chapter eleven, spotlights several of God’s Hall of Faith Heroes from the Old Testament.  Each one looking for the “promised” Messiah to come in their life time with intense Hope and Faith…Yet; they all died in their FAITH having never witnessed His earthly ascension.  But, they NEVER gave up Hope!

Ask yourself this question, can you live day by day in faith should an unpleasant situation or circumstance never resolve itself in your life time? That’s exactly what I am asking myself this morning…What if the unpleasant situation “never” gets fixed in my life time?  I have a choice…And, I am choosing to trust in God for His purpose and plan….That’s my choice…I am not “helpless” nor “powerless” in the matter…I have made a definitive choice….I am CHOOSING to serve God and let Him take care of the matter…

Whew…I can already breathe better knowing that while I am “exercising” Faith…God is working in the matter!  Amen!

Today, like me, you may be facing a situation that requires lots of faith and trust on your part….Remember, you are making a choice when you “choose” to trust God!!  The Psalmist wrote, “TRUST IN GOD AT ALL TIMES, O PEOPLE; POUR OUT YOUR HEARTS UNTO HIM, FOR GOD IS OUR REFUGE.” Psalm 62:8

Remember, God Loves You!
