Jesus Saves…

Jesus Saves…

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

No other person, religion, works or belief system can save you except Faith in the person of Jesus Christ; God’s own Son.

Jesus was God, our great Creator, manifested in the flesh. “And the Word became flesh and dwelled among us.” (John 1:14) It is beyond sad and tragic how many false religions and false beliefs are covering the globe at this present moment. However, there is only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

The world knows of the Christmas holiday, but so many do not know who Christmas is about or why Christmas exists. I recently read where a minister stated, “Jesus is not the only reason for the season. Mankind is also the reason for the season.” Jesus came to be born and to die for the salvation of all mankind; all those who believe in His name. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).

This Christmas the best present that you can give or receive is the gift of Faith in Jesus Christ living within your heart. Without Christ you are loss and without Hope. Without Christ you do not have the favor of God or God’s eternal blessings upon your life. Only by receiving Christ into your heart do you have favor with God and inherit His eternal and precious promises and blessings.

My friend, do not be deceived or misled by all the numerous false religions of the world. God is Love and HE manifested His love toward us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

“Oh, how sweet to know thou art with me, will be with me ‘til the end. Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er; Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more!” Do you know Jesus Christ? Do you trust in Jesus Christ? If you do not, I pray that you will.

This Christmas season and every day of your life Trust in Jesus…Jesus Saves.

Remember, God Loves You (through His Son, Jesus Christ)

He’s Coming to Town

“You better watch out; you better not cry!”

Remember, being told as a child that Santa Claus is coming to town, so you better be good? And, suddenly you would change your bad behavior.

Just knowing that the big jolly man with the white beard was coming to town was enough for any kid to stop misbehaving and put a smile on their face. But, do you know that there’s a REAL someone much greater than the myth of Santa Claus who really is coming to town in a twinkle-of-an-eye? That someone is Jesus Christ.

Jesus is NOT imaginary or a myth. And, HE really does see and hear everything we say or do; even our thoughts and intentions. Jesus isn’t someone who only comes into our lives one time of the year. For those of us who Believe, HE is with us each and every day.

Jesus wants to come into every little boy’s and every little girl’s heart no matter how naughty or nice they have been. According to the Bible, Jesus came to Earth to save “whosoever” will call upon His Name. (See Romans chapter 13.)

The greatest gift ever given unto man was not found in a sled or in a big red sack, but was born in a manger over two thousand years ago. The Gift of Jesus Christ is the only gift that keeps on giving for a lifetime and throughout all of eternity.

This year instead of keeping an eye out for Santa, keep your eyes focused on Jesus; the real reason for the season.

Merry Christmas and Remember, God Loves You!

Christmas, The Most Anticipated Day of the Year

Christmas, The Most Anticipated Day of the Year…

Merry Christmas! Of all the 365 days a year no other day is more celebrated and anticipated than Christmas Day.
Christmas is the day that we set aside to acknowledge and celebrate the miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For many, it is also a day filled with a plethora of family traditions. No other holiday except Thanksgiving finds more families gathered together in one place. It’s a time when we Break Away from the hustle and bustles of everyday living to spend time with those we love so dear.

But, most importantly, it is a day and time to give THANKS unto our Heavenly Father for His Gift of Love, Mercy, Grace, Forgiveness, and Salvation. Of all the gifts anyone can ever receive, none other can compare to God’s Gift to mankind; His only Begotten Son, Jesus (John 3:16). Jesus, the Reason for the Season!

During this time of the year, not all families can gather together to celebrate the birth of Christ as they wish. Today, or during this Christmas season, you may find yourself physically alone. Perhaps, your family could not gather together this year for one reason or another. Perhaps, they are scattered from one corner of the globe to another Perhaps, they, or even you, are serving abroad in the military or serving in another state. Perhaps, many of your loved ones and friends have already gone on to be with the Lord in Heaven. Or, perhaps you may be working and cannot get away to be with loved ones during the holidays…Whatever the case might be, know this Truth…Whenever you receive Christ Jesus into your Heart by admitting that you are a lost sinner in need of Salvation, believing in your heart that Jesus is God manifested in the Flesh sent to die for your sins and mine (John 1:14), and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord, you will never be alone again (Romans 10). Jesus will never leave nor forsake you no matter the day, the hour, or the season…He is with you 24/7, 365 days a year!

Yes, my friend, Jesus is Alive and Well…living in the hearts of countless numbers of Believers who have received Him into their lives as their personal Savior and Lord….This Christmas, if you haven’t already done so, you too can receive the Greatest Gift ever given, God’s Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ…Then, you can celebrate the real and true meaning of Christmas with the rest of God’s Family…JOY TO THE WORLD THE LORD IS COME, LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING! What an Amazing, Awesome Gift!!

In closing, I want to wish you and yours the Merriest Christmas ever and a most Blessed, Happy, and Prosperous New Year, 2014.
Remember, God Loves You!

Day 25 Celebrating Immanuel

Day 25 Celebrating Immanuel

For by Grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  (Ephesians 2:8)

I am approaching the last “five” days on my theme, “Celebrating Immanuel,” being interpreted God Dwells Among Us.  Amen.

The Christmas Season is past and the New Year is upon us.  What better time to “celebrate” God’s Grace and the Gift of Jesus’ miraculous birth, sinless life, painful death, and victorious resurrection!  He did it all for me!  He did it all for you!  He did it all for “whosoever” will come unto Him!  Amen.

Today’s focus verse talks about the GRACE of GOD and the GIFT of GOD.  They go hand in hand…Jesus Christ is our GRACE and He is our GIFT!  The sad thing is that so many refuse to accept Him as either. They would rather “work” themselves for a salvation that they cannot keep.

God’s authentic Salvation is all about the wonderful, glorious, marvelous Grace of God!  We don’t deserve it and we can’t work for it!  When we try to “work” for God’s Grace we make a mess of our lives…We try this and we try that…We do this and we do that…All to no avail…In God’s plan of Salvation, we are saved by Grace through Faith..Faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son (John 3:16).  Jesus is our Gift of Grace!!

Today, you may be struggling within yourself to make sense of your life.  But, you will never be able to make sense of anything outside of the Grace of God…God extended His Grace towards man while we were yet sinners, lost and dying without hope.  There is no excuse.  Without Jesus there is NO Gift of Grace…You can’t work it up…You can’t make it up…You can’t even plan it up….Salvation was and is God’s plan; and His alone!  To God be the Glory!

God rendered to us the Gift of Grace because He loved us and was willing to die in our place to pay the final and ultimate penalty for the wages of Sin.  For the wages of Sin is death (eternal separation from God…Romans 6:23)…Our sin debt was paid in FULL at Calvary.  And, our Resurrected Hope (Jesus Christ) now sits by the Throne making intercession for those who believe in His everlasting atonement for our sins.

If you have never believed or received God’s marvelous Gift of Grace, I invite you to do so.  Join those of us who already Believe and have Received His Grace by Faith in “Celebrating Immanuel” for the next 365 days and beyond!  Glory to His Name!  God has extended His Gift of Grace to all who will believe and receive…Want you believe and receive this marvelous Gift today?!  Amen.

Remember, God Loves You!

Day 22 Celebrating Immanuel

Day 22 Celebrating Immanuel

Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.  (Luke 2:12 KJV)

What a famous verse of scripture this is…”You shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”  But, let’s exchange the word “babe” for some of God’s other titles:

“Ye shall find the Word wrapped in swaddling clothes…”  (John 1:14)

“Ye shall find the Christ wrapped in swaddling clothes…”

“Ye shall find the Messiah wrapped in swaddling clothes…”

“Ye shall find the Bread of Life wrapped in swaddling clothes…”

“Ye shall find the Mighty God wrapped in swaddling clothes…”

“Ye shall find the Everlasting Father wrapped in swaddling clothes…”

“Ye shall find the Prince of Peace wrapped in swaddling clothes…”

“Ye shall find the King of Kings and Lord of Lords wrapped in swaddling clothes…”

Oh, the Greatness and Wonder of our Savior, Redeemer, Heavenly Father and Lord…Amen.

Do you know what ingredient is missing in each one of these examples? Pride…You will find NO pride in God…God took upon himself the very flesh of man to die in his place for the sins of the whole world.  Had one ounce, one drop, or one speck of pride been a part of God’s Love towards mankind, we would ALL still be lost and without hope…For pride would have never allowed GOD, our Eternal Great Creator, to ever humble Himself enough to be wrapped in swaddling clothes (rags!).

This is why the scriptures teach us that “our” righteousness is as filthy rags in the sight of God!”

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6 KJB)

God doesn’t need our self-righteous, haughtiness in any regard…He humbled himself to be wrapped in “rags” at his birth so that you and I could be “wrapped” in His Righteousness!  Hallelujah! Amen!

Oh, the amazing birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who came as a babe born in a manger “wrapped” in swaddling clothes…  If all of mankind would only realize what God done in giving us His Son who took on the form of God (Immanuel; being interpreted God Dwells Among Us) manifested in the flesh to take your place and my place for the wages of Sin which is eternal death; but the Gift of God is eternal life!

For God So LOVED the world that He GAVE us His only begotten Son, (and you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger) that whosoever believes in Him shall never perish but have everlasting life.  (John 3:16).

Want you trust Him today…I know I do…Amen.

Day 20 Celebrating Immanuel (Dec 25th)

Day 20 Celebrating Immanuel (Dec 25th)

candle-light-mistletoe-christmas[1]MERRY CHRISTMAS!

“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child…”  (Isaiah 66: 7 KJV)

Several years ago while studying my Bible, I feel the LORD showed me a great passage, Isaiah 66:7, and provided me with an amazing insight into the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…  Mary experienced NO labor, pains, or discomfort at His birth!

And, when you think about it; why should she?  God had given woman the curse of bringing forth children in travail (labor) and pain as a result of Eve’s sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:16)… “In sorrow (pain) thou shalt bring forth children…”

The Virgin Mary did not conceive Jesus in Sin…”She was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” (Matthew 1:18). Jesus was no ordinarily conceived baby.  He was God’s only Son. He had no sin.  As a result, NO sin would be involved in either His conception or his birth…So, there would be NO curse upon his conception or his birth!  Mary would NOT know the pain and travail of normal child birth until she delivered children conceived later on by her earthly husband, Joseph.

JESUS CHRIST…A miraculous conception, a miraculous birth, a miraculous life, a miraculous death, a miraculous resurrection…Any way you look at it…Jesus was and is MIRACULOUS!

This is why the whole earth stops to celebrate His birth….THE SINLESS CONCEPTION AND SINLESS BIRTH OF IMMANUEL….AMAZING and AWESOME, AMEN!  Oh, there are so many ways to Celebrate Immanuel…Today, let us Celebrate His Amazing Birth in Bethlehem…Amen.

Remember, God Loves You!

Day 18 Celebrating Immanuel

Day 18 Celebrating Immanuel

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ…(Matthew 1:16)

This morning I want to look closer at the meaning of Jesus being called, “Christ.”  Christ comes from the Greek word Christos that means, “Anointed One.”  The Hebrew word for “Anointed One” is Messiah.  Therefore, both Christ in the Greek and Messiah in Hebrew have the same relevent meaning, “Anointed One.”

Now, what exactly does it mean to be called the “Anointed One?”   To be “anointed” indicates a person being set aside by GOD for HIS divine purpose, service, task, or plan. In the Old Testament, the process of being “anointed” included having “OIL” poured over the head by a priest allowing it to run down the face and body symbolizing God’s divine covering and protection.  Kings were “anointed” as well as priests to represent to the people or kingdom that God had chosen them for His specific purpose, service, or task.

In the Old Testament days, people respected and honored those who were “anointed” among them.  King David honored King Saul by not killing him when he had the chance even though King Saul had relentlessly pursued David’s own life for years.  It is written:

Far be it from me because of the  LORD that I should do this thing to my lord, the LORD’S anointed,  to stretch out my hand against him, since he is the LORD’S anointed. (1 Samuel 24:6)

King David refused to “stretch out his hand” against his earthly enemy King Saul, or kill him, because He regarded and honored Saul’s position as a king as being “anointed” of God.  Oh, that we would still pay such honor and respect unto God’s chosen people of service; those called of God for His purpose and plan!

In the book of Matthew, we read:

And she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.  (Matthew 1:21 KJV)

Jesus Christ, being God manifested in the flesh, came for God’s own divine purpose and plan…He was and IS the appointed “ANOINTED ONE” set aside by God to be our long-awaited Savior of the world (John 3:16).  Jesus is Christ the Messiah, the Holy Anointed One of God.

When we say, “Jesus Christ,” we are saying, Jesus the “Anointed One.”  When we call Him Messiah, we are calling Him the “Anointed One.”  We are recognizing, honoring, and paying tribute to Him as being Holy and Divinely set aside by God.  He is our Anointed King of Kings and Lord of Lords…Oh, my friend let us rejoice in that Jesus is CHRIST; the Holy Anointed One sent from God; the HOPE of the world.  Amen.

CHRISTmas is the day we celebrate the earthly birth of Jesus CHRIST; God’s only begotten Son, the ANOINTED ONE!  Amen…Merry Christmas to you!

Remember, God Loves You!
