Christmas, The Most Anticipated Day of the Year

Christmas, The Most Anticipated Day of the Year…

Merry Christmas! Of all the 365 days a year no other day is more celebrated and anticipated than Christmas Day.
Christmas is the day that we set aside to acknowledge and celebrate the miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For many, it is also a day filled with a plethora of family traditions. No other holiday except Thanksgiving finds more families gathered together in one place. It’s a time when we Break Away from the hustle and bustles of everyday living to spend time with those we love so dear.

But, most importantly, it is a day and time to give THANKS unto our Heavenly Father for His Gift of Love, Mercy, Grace, Forgiveness, and Salvation. Of all the gifts anyone can ever receive, none other can compare to God’s Gift to mankind; His only Begotten Son, Jesus (John 3:16). Jesus, the Reason for the Season!

During this time of the year, not all families can gather together to celebrate the birth of Christ as they wish. Today, or during this Christmas season, you may find yourself physically alone. Perhaps, your family could not gather together this year for one reason or another. Perhaps, they are scattered from one corner of the globe to another Perhaps, they, or even you, are serving abroad in the military or serving in another state. Perhaps, many of your loved ones and friends have already gone on to be with the Lord in Heaven. Or, perhaps you may be working and cannot get away to be with loved ones during the holidays…Whatever the case might be, know this Truth…Whenever you receive Christ Jesus into your Heart by admitting that you are a lost sinner in need of Salvation, believing in your heart that Jesus is God manifested in the Flesh sent to die for your sins and mine (John 1:14), and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord, you will never be alone again (Romans 10). Jesus will never leave nor forsake you no matter the day, the hour, or the season…He is with you 24/7, 365 days a year!

Yes, my friend, Jesus is Alive and Well…living in the hearts of countless numbers of Believers who have received Him into their lives as their personal Savior and Lord….This Christmas, if you haven’t already done so, you too can receive the Greatest Gift ever given, God’s Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ…Then, you can celebrate the real and true meaning of Christmas with the rest of God’s Family…JOY TO THE WORLD THE LORD IS COME, LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING! What an Amazing, Awesome Gift!!

In closing, I want to wish you and yours the Merriest Christmas ever and a most Blessed, Happy, and Prosperous New Year, 2014.
Remember, God Loves You!

“Phil Robertson, Liberals Don’t Play Fair!”

“Phil Robertson, Liberals Don’t Play Fair!”

For decades and decades it seemed all we ever heard from the left-winged media and far-left liberals was, “Equality, Equality.” Before we knew it law after law had been passed to “protect” their rights against being discriminated from almost anything and everything under the sun…But, look where it has gotten us…Now, the Conservatives, mostly those of us who consider ourselves as being Christians, are being discriminated against on every side, situation, and circumstance…

Unlike the Liberals, we simply shook our heads and remained silent. In our homes, we stopped watching certain programs on TV, stopped reading certain magazines, stopped going to certain places where liberalism and an “anything-goes” mentality and philosophy ruled. For years and years now, as both Conservatives and Christians, we just kept pulling our boundaries in smaller and smaller to accommodate and ensure the Liberals a larger and much larger playing field. Now, our section of the playing field has become so small that there’s hardly any room left to play at all…The Liberals have taken it over…And, we, as Conservative Christians, are quickly learning that “Liberals Don’t Play Fair!”

Many groups of people do not actually want “Equality,” they simply want to be heard and seen. They want to be “Number One,” Supreme, Superior, “In Your Face,” or be a Number 10 on a scale of 1-10! Symbolically speaking, they want to bring every toy they have in their toy chest to the play ground, but get mad and pitch tantrums when the other player brings even one of his or her own personal toys to the playing field…In other words, they always want to be, “King of the Hill.”

Take Far-left Liberals verses Christians…Far-left Liberals bring their nudity to the Big Screen and TV’s. They bring their free sex with whomever they please beliefs; their filthy and provocative language; their right to drink, party, and do drugs life-style; their “split-in-your-eye” attitudes; their demands that “everyone has equal say including child molesters and rapists but not unborn babies;” their “love-the-one-you’re-with (men, women, or both)” and “anything goes” philosophies. They bring their “I’m entitled to anything that I want” attitudes; and their “I’m against any type of organized religious” perspectives loud and clear everywhere they go. Simply speaking, “Free Birds” as they like to be called…

But, let a dedicated Christian bring to the playing field one simple tool from his Hope Chest, the Bible, and the Liberal crowd goes screaming like a flock of wild turkeys that he, she, or they are being discriminated against… In actuality, all a Christian has to do to upset a Liberal is simply READ from the Word of God and it tends to send them into orbit…As the old saying goes, “The Word of God will either draw you closer to God or drive you away!”

Christians have been being persecuted since the beginning of Christianity over two-thousand years ago…Sadly, the Bible teaches that we will continue being persecuted right up to the very moment when Christ Jesus will return to take away HIS followers; called Christians…I wonder what the Far-Left, non-believing Liberals are going to do then, and who are they going to blame when countless numbers of people are suddenly missing from planet Earth? Will they feel that they have been discriminated against for being “left behind?” Lord, have mercy!

Phil Robertson, I don’t understand A&E’s decision or the liberal media for getting so hyped over your sharing your personal beliefs…Are they so confused that they don’t understand that Christians, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, are to associate themselves with the Teachings of the BIBLE? And, after receiving Christ Jesus into our hearts as our personal Savior, we dedicate our lives to following HIS Teachings and not those of the Liberal world, liberal media, or liberal entertainment society?

Maybe, our nation needs a good dose of teaching on what it means to be a bona-fide Christian…And, thanks to you Phil Robertson and your family’s steadfast Faith in the Lord maybe some of them just might learn!

Perhaps, our denominational doctrines may differ somewhat, but as long as we both know Jesus as God manifested in the flesh (John 1:14) who came to earth to take away our sins and to reconcile us back unto God (John 3:16-17) through His virgin birth, sinless life, precious blood, and finished works at Calvary, I believe we can agree to agree that we are Brothers and Sisters in Christ, serving the same Lord, and looking for his soon-to-be blessed second coming! Therefore, you have my strongest support in your future quest and endeavors.

God Bless you Phil Robertson and the entire Robertson Family…I know the Lord will guide you through this most challenging and exciting time in His Name…Amen…

Deception…Satan’s Tool

Deception…Satan’s Tool

The Power of Deception…

In my last blog, I wrote about Trust…Less than an hour after I posted that blog, God led me to read an article and Scriptural verses on Deception…Not only are so many people lacking and unwilling to put their Trust into the ONLY ONE who can be fully trusted, but they have also allowed themselves to become heavily seduced by Deception; Satan’s Powerful Tool…Very sadly, I know this terrible fact from personal experiences within my own family…I’m sure you do, too.

Let me give you a very clear definition of Satan’s role in Deception: ANYTHING that we are believing in or acting upon that is contrary to the Words of God found written in the Bible is a LIE directly from the Father of Lies, Satan…A continual, day by day, consistent way of life that is knowingly in contrast to the teachings of God’s Word is a Bondage of Deception…This my friend is a very serious bondage indeed…

Sadly, the distortion of Scripture is one of Satan’s most powerful tools in the lives of those enslaved to the bondage of Deception…Satan always tells those in bondage, “No, that’s not what that Scripture means, it really means this or it really means that.” Satan tells those in bondage-to-deception that it is alright to hate, not to forgive, to condemn, to judge, to mistreat, to be indifferent, and to feel that they are always in the right and everyone else is in the wrong…Satan loves to work in the realms of a person’s ego when they are being deceived; boosting them into believing they are right and those in opposition to their ways and follies are clearly in the wrong. Many ugly lies hide behind pretty faces…

Oh, my friend, I have witnessed the lives of many ministers who have fallen into the bondages of deception leading their families and congregations into believing that if it doesn’t come from “their” mouth then it has to be wrong. They may tell you to “read” the Bible for yourselves, but if you do NOT come to the same conclussions that they possess then they will tell you, “That’s not what it means.” Then, they will persuade you into beleiving that they have some sort of intelligent “inner” source into the Power of Interpretation of the Scriptures…I have witnessed these deceived preachers taking sections of Scriptures and putting them together to build a case supporting their own personal agendas and ideologies. And, sadly I have watched a many undiscerning believers entranced by their false teachings!

Many of these types of deceived ministers are very smart, clever, charismatic, filled with self-certainties, and false assurances in so much so that many people believe “they” are the ones to follow. Sadly, these ministers reject the fundamental teachings of God’s Word, and they reject those long-standing fundamental preachers who do not “shine” within their own spotlight, but stand assured only in the True spotlight of God.

Oh, but do not be so easily fooled, TRUTH will prevail. One most assured day Truth will prevail…And those sadly enslaved in the bondages of deception will be exposed for who they are and what they are…Men in white-washed tombs. Meaning, they look so appealing and trust-worthy on the outside but full of dead-man bones…

My heart breaks for those who have been mislead and lured away from God’s Biblical teachings to false teachings and false acts of Hope…For many of these held in Satan’s Bondage-of-Deception it is easier for them to “love” the ones they do not know rather than to love the ones they do know…Or, they will only surround themselves with those who believe as they believe and do as they do…Anyone else who is opposed to their teachings or ways are forbidden to “walk” within their spear or realm of life; including close family members who do not see as they see or do as they do.

According to the Words of God, the only way to be rescued from Deception is to be filled with the Truths of God as written in God’s Words alone…One must read the Scriptures for himself or for herself. Steadfastly and daily read what, “Thus saith the Lord,” not what so and so says about it… The Bible teaches, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32 KJV). Only GOD’S WORD IS COMPLETE AND TOTAL TRUTH!

If the Bible teaches us to be ye kind, tenderhearted, forgiving, and loving one towards another then that is exactly what it means…FOR GOD IS LOVE….And, NO where in the BIBLE does it teach for one to be “indifferent” and to “separate” themselves from those who do not agree with your every man-made belief, wish, or desire. That my friend is the definition of CONTROL in the highest sense of the word….Both mind control and emotional control…

Today, want you help me to pray for those who are in bondage to deception? Help me to pray that they will come out and see the LIGHT for themselves and come to know JESUS at HIS WORD…Blessed Be the Lord, let it be so. Amen.

A Matter of Trust…

A Matter of Trust

Trust…The word, “Trust” holds great worth and value in today’s society. Unfortunately, we have learned NOT to trust most promises given by many of our leaders and NOT to rely upon those whom we thought we could rely; even our closest friends and loved ones at time.

Face it, the lack of Trust has become a real issue within today’s world. People make all kinds of promises they simply cannot keep or won’t keep. I recall a time when Americans could read or watch the News with confidence trusting what was being reported was actual truth or fact. That’s not the case any longer. Propaganda, mistruths, half-truths, and spins are put into just about everything we hear or see in today’s political and media worlds. That old wise saying, “Believe half you see and nothing you hear,” holds more truth today than ever before.

With so much “distrust” abounding it’s hard to believe in anything…But, there’s still one thing of total certainty that we can trust and rely upon…God’s Word; the Bible. The Promises of the Bible are True and Faithful. We can possess great confidence that God will never leave nor forsake us. The Bible teaches us, “Let God be true, but every man a liar…” (Romans 3:4 KJV). Meaning that God cannot lie and man can and often does lie.

God does not have to impress mankind with phony hopes and promises. What HE says HE means, and HE will bring it to pass. Trusting in God is a guarantee that never fades or expires. God is eternal; therefore His Promises are eternal. One of my favorite verses is found in the Book of Proverbs, “TRUST in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5). I can put my heart’s entire TRUST in the LORD…I don’t have to worry about it. I don’t have to think about it. I don’t have to wonder or ponder over it…I know the LORD cares for me and will never breach a single promise HE has made.

My friend, today you may be struggling with Trust issues and wondering if you can ever trust anyone again. Perhaps, someone you love or put confidence into has disappointed or let you down. It happens to all of us at one time or another. But, just remember all humans are just that; Humans…And, humans do forget, fail, fall down, and disappoint even with the best of intentions.

I encourage you during this Christmas Season and throughout the rest of your life to place ALL of your hopes and cares upon Jesus because HE is GOD and HE can never forget, fail, fall down, or disappoint anyone…GOD is Faithful and you can always rely and Trust in HIM to do what is best for you in HIS time…Want you TRUST in Him today?

Remember, God Loves You!

Kaleidoscope of Emotions…

Kaleidoscope of Emotions…”Our Tears Do Matter.”

If you are like most human beings you are a myriad of daily feelings and emotions. Our natural “self” responds and reacts to the many things and people around us…From the very first moment that we open our eyes to a new morning we are “feeling” something inside…We either awake with feelings of glee and joy to face the new day or we arise with sadness and possible despair depending upon our circumstances.

Our ever-changing feelings do not necessarily associate with our feelings of “Thankfulness” and “Gratitude.” As Believers in Christ Jesus, we possess a Spirit of Thankfulness and Gratitude hopefully continuously; but that doesn’t always mean we “feel” happy inside. As Christians, we can carry our burdens to the Lord and trust that HE is working on our behalf no matter our current situation; this is an example of Biblical Hope and Trust. But, even Christians can get the “blues” and feel sad from time to time.

I believe that what makes things harder on Christians when we are experiencing the “blues” or times of sadness is that “we” tend to beat ourselves up when we are having a bad day on the inside that possibly spills over into a bad week. Almost instantly, we begin to “judge” ourselves for feeling the way we do. Too often, when we do share our sadder “feelings” with those around us they “judge” us harshly as well. Thus, the cycle begins…In addition to feeling sad, we feel guilt. Then, it “feels” as if we need a pic, hoe, and shovel to tunnel ourselves back to the Light!

Thankfully, no other Power Source can manage to rescue us from our feelings of “blue” better than the Words of God found in the Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit. God doesn’t get upset, offended, or disappointed in us when we feel sad or face trials or circumstances that leave us feeling “blue” on the inside. As a matter of fact, our feelings of “blue” often lead us to our knees where God is waiting on us!

Actually, we should not ignore or try to dismiss our “blue” feelings. I recently read an article that stated people need to learn to “cry” again…We have become a society of “people-picker-uppers” so much so that we have lost the art and cleansing abilities of crying. Our God put so much emphasis on our “tears” that He places each one in a bottle and records them in His book that He is preserving in Heaven for those who Believe…”Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?” (Psalm 56:8 KJV). No wonder Satan and our lost and dying world wants us to feel happy and glee 24/7…Satan would love nothing better than our “bottles” to be empty because he knows that “crying” actually helps to soothe both the mind and body…Psychologists suggest that women and men who “grieve” more openly over the loss of a spouse are more apt to recover sooner and live stronger lives afterwards.

The Children of Israel knew how to “grieve.” They set aside days and weeks for grief…I believe one reason that our society is suffering so much with symptoms of “depression” is because we have simply lost our abilities to take our “tears” to God in honest confession…A pill might make us temporarily “feel” better but it does not resolve whatever it is that is making us feel depressed…Only GOD can make a rainbow out of a storm!

Today, you might be feeling a little down, uncertain, sad, or “blue.” If so, instead of kicking against your feelings why not submit them unto the Lord? Stop what you are doing and find a place to kneel down on your knees. In honest confession unto the Lord tell him exactly how and what you are feeling. Remain there in prayer until your tears begin to flow down your cheeks allowing God’s natural cleansing ability soothe your inward soul…As they say, “There’s nothing like a good cry to make a body feel better.” After you do, you will feel refreshed and renewed. No, your circumstances may not change, but you will. You will sense an inward strength from God to remain steadfast while HE is working on your behalf…We can always carry our Kaleidoscope of Emotions to God!

Thou Who Judges Another…

Thou Who Judges Another…

Judge not, that ye be not judged. (Matthew 7:1)

I realize the Biblical command, “Judge not, that ye be not judged,” brings forth a plethora of feelings, emotions, beliefs, and opinions. Yet we, as Christians, can put our Trust into the Great Judge, Jesus Christ, our God and Creator.

Nevertheless, as Christians, we are not to turn a blinded eye to “sin,” “sinful behaviors,” or “acts of sin.” God commands us to “be ye separated” and to “come out from among them.” II Corinthians 6:17 says, “Wherefore come out from among them (the lost dying, unbelieving world), and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you unto myself.” Meaning to separate ourselves from those who choose to live unrighteous, ungodly lives and to not live among them or do as they do. As a rather popular saying goes, “Love the sinner but hate the sin.”

We are to love the sinner who commits sin and transgress against God, but we are to hate the ungodly and unrighteous acts they commit. Sin breaks the heart of God; so much so that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for the transgression of our sins…(John 3:16). It was the only way that mankind could be reconciled back to a Holy and Righteous God. I don’t believe that God wants the souls that He purchased with His own blood to return to the unrighteous acts of conduct they were in before they accepted his complete works on the Cross at Calvary; known as Salvation. After we receive Christ into our hearts, we are “new” creatures; old things pass away, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians 5:17).

However, what about hurtful actions that Christians commit one against another? How are we to deal and handle such incidents? The Bible is very clear on this matter….”Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors”(Matthew 6:12). The Apostle Peter actually asked Jesus this question, “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? (Matthew 18:21)…And, this is what our Lord answered, “And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him” (Luke 17:4).

One manner of behavior that depicts our new-birth in Christ Jesus is a Spirit of Forgiveness and Reconciliation towards our brothers and sisters in Christ. As Christians, we know that we are not perfect and that we have been “bought with the price” of our Savior’s life, death, burial, and resurrection.

An unwillingness to forgive and be reconciled unto a brother or sister in Christ is a sign of “Rebellion” which is called “witchcraft” in the Bible. A brother or sister who is in bondage to unforgivness must recognize this condition and seek the Lord for deliverance. A study in the books of I, II, and III John will show that when we walk with the Lord and in the Lord that we cannot hold grudges or ought against our fellow believers. This also means that we cannot develop an attitude of “indifference” saying that we simply don’t let “it” bother us because we have “moved on.” This is not obedience unto the Lord regarding reconciliation and peace. Anyone who lives with ought, resentment, malice, meanness, indifference, or unforgiveness in their heart against another believer is seriously in danger of Judgment from the Lord himself.

Today, you may be at odds with a fellow believer. If so, I encourage you to seek God, pray, and be ye reconciled as soon as possible. The Bible clearly outlines a process to which you can follow in seeking reconciliation with a brother or sister in Christ. It is found in Matthew, chapter 18. In the mean time, ask the Lord to forgive you for not forgiving those who have upset, offended, or transgressed against you. The big picture is to protect your own heart in obedience unto the Lord and let the Lord do the rest…

This is serious business in the Family of God; one not to be taken lightly. May the Prince of Peace rule supreme in our hearts and lives.

Remember, God Loves You (And, we are to love our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord.)
