Day 27 Celebrating Immanuel
For with God NOTHING shall be impossible…Luke 1:37 KJV
“For With GOD NOTHING shall be impossible.” I enjoy reading the conversation between the Angel Gabriel and the virgin Mary as recorded in the Gospels. The Bible clearly teaches us that “Gabriel was sent from God.” He did not come on his own; he was “SENT!” And, he obeyed.
The Bible tells us that “Mary saw him.” What a sight that must have been! But, Gabriel quickly assured Mary to “not be afraid.” After Gabriel calmed Mary’s fears, he informed her that she would bring forth a child and call his name JESUS. Then, Gabriel went on to tell her about her cousin Elisabeth’s pregnancy in her old age. It was at this time Gabriel announced, “For With God NOTHING Shall Be Impossible.”
How many times in our own lives do we need to be reminded that With GOD NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE. God has no limits of time or age. God has no limits of physical boundary. God has no limits of Power. God has no limits of anything limited!! He far exceeds and goes far beyond anything that our human hearts can ever think or imagine. HE IS GOD!
I believe that sometimes we all need a good dose of remembrance of Who GOD really is! God is everything and more than we can ever hope for in this life and the life to come. As the Psalmist wrote, “Bless the Lord, O my soul. O LORD MY GOD, thou art very Great; thou art clothed with Honor and Majesty.” Amen.
Today, we do not serve a God who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, cares, worries, and concerns. Our God hears our pleas and knows our hearts. He is a GOOD GOD; a LOVING GOD. With GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. You may be facing an impossible situation today, but God is limitless in HIS abilities to take care of His own and bring about HIs plan and purpose for their lives.
Won’t you TRUST GOD today just as both Elisabeth and Mary did over two thousand years ago. “And Mary said unto Gabriel, Behold the handmaid (servant) of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.” Today, allow whatever it is that you are facing to be according to God’s plan for your life. “For I (GOD) know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of PEACE, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV). Amen…
Remember, God Loves YOU!
