Peace Within

Peace Within…

“I give unto you peace; not as the world giveth, but peace that passeth all understanding…”

Well, for the past several days I have to admit that I have been “anxious” and “concerned” over happenings and events in my own world as well as the world around me….At times, it’s hard not to be…But, this morning, Praise be unto God, I awoke with a sense of Peace and assurance within my heart…

Nothing has truly changed outwardly, but inwardly God has taken over any fears, worries, and anxieties I have been experiencing.  Peace, inward peace, is a gift from God…For we, on our own, cannot “wish” away our troubles and fears because that would only magnify them, but when The Mighty God, Counselor; Prince of Peace shows up and touches our heart; then we know God is always on the Throne.  We know that we have been touched by the Master’s Hand.  And, I thank my Lord for that sweet assurance.

And today just happens to be my oldest twin daughters’ thirty-seventh birthday.  Oh, how I can still recall the exciting and precious moments of that day when I first looked upon their faces and held them both in my arms, “Twin A,” and “Twin B.”  God had answered all three of my specific prayers…(1.) That they would arrive on my original expected due date, July 27th.. (2.) That they would both weigh over five pounds (5.2 and 5.10), and (3.) that both babies would be healthy.  God blessed me that day, thirty-seven years ago, and he continues to bless me today.  Amen…I know so many of you feel the same way I do…undeserving to be so blessed…

I have a lovely family; three daughters and nine grandchildren. Our youngest daughter arrived seventeen months after the twins were born.  What a busy and eventful time in our lives…Three babies under the age of eighteen months!  But, God lead me each step of the way…I made plenty of mistakes along the way; tons of them…But, God was gracious to me even back then, and helped me to grow and mature as both a wife and mother…Of course, there were some pretty anxious times as well, but God’s peace sustained me even in the most difficult of times.

Today, you may be feeling like I was for the past couple of days…just plain worried over matters and issues…But, this morning God gently reminded me that He is in control and I have nothing to fear…It’s going to be a good day…This is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad therein…Amen!

Remember, God Loves You

Woe Unto Them…

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  (Isaiah 5:20 KJV)

What saddness fills my heart and mind as we continue to see those in high political places within our nation openly speak up for evil and speak out against that which is good according to the Words of God.

For decades now, the Bible has no longer been used or seen as a book of Divine guidance given by a Holy Creator to a needful people.  We no longer look to its truths as our foundation and its boundaries as our compass.  Man is left to interpret, “whatever is right in his own eyes.” No longer do elected politicians represent the voice of the common man, but that of special interest groups and those who “mock” the teachings of the Word of God.

Today, it is more fearful in our nation to stand up and claim to be a Bible-believing Christian than it is to enter a theater and shoot dozens of innocent people; killing and taking lives.  Why do I say this?  Because, a few days ago a young man entered into a Colorado theater armed with enough weapons to take out a small community.  But, as far as I know, no politician in our land has stood up to say that the violence being acted out and displayed in today’s Hollywood movies is having a negative impact upon our land. No, no voice heard…Rather than admit to such beliefs, our media has been overloaded with “stars” and “officials” in support of Hollywood…  However; let a Bible-believing American CEO stand up and declare his support for Christian values and numerous city mayors all across America are asking people to boycott their business.  “Woe unto them who call evil good…and good evil…”

People we better wake up…If these aren’ts signs of the end-of-time, we are certainly missing the mark.  Yes, yes, yes…I know “signs” have always been with us from the beginning of time…Yes, yes, yes…I know that “no one” knows the day or hour when Jesus will return for His bride (the church-born-again believers and followers of Jesus Christ)…But, the Bible does tell us that as it was in the day of Noah so shall it be when the Lord appears… What was going on in the day of Noah?  “Good was being called evil and evil was being called good.”  (represented in Genesis 6:5).

In Matthew 24, we find the account where Jesus’ own disciples asked him what the “signs” would be of his returning. In verses nine and ten, we read, “And ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another…”

Oh, my dear friend how I know the heart-breaking pains of being offended, betrayed, rejected, and hated because of who I am (a Christian) and whom I believe (Jesus Christ).  You haven’t lived until you have been betrayed by the very ones that you ministered to, loved, and prayed for…The very ones you went to church with Sunday after Sunday…Oh, the pain….You haven’t lived until your own family members, flesh and blood, betray you and mock you and refuse to make amends with you because their own heart has grown cold and indifferent..  Yet; they see no wrong in it….”And, because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Everywhere you look and everywhere you go people are doing what is right in their own eyes and refusing to obey and listen to the Word of God….”How can you love the one you haven’t seen when you cannot love the one you have seen?”   (I John 4:20).  People, LOVE…God’s Love is NOT indifferent. It is alive, thriving, forgiving, nurturing, patient, kind-hearted…But, it is never indifferent…Oh, Lord, open our blinded eyes.

Our nation’s moral compass, as well as many of our own churches, is broken. Anything goes…We don’t want to “offend” anyone…We don’t want to stand up for what is right… We don’t want to be seen as backward and ignorant KJV Bible thumpers, narrow-minded and legalistic…Just to mention a few of the “tags” we are labeled with when we stand up and stand upon the teachings of the Word of God…

If I’m going to die for something or if I am going to be imprisoned for something, let it be something worthwhile like the B-I-B-L-E…that’s the book for me!  Patrick Henry declared, “Give me Liberty or give me death!”  Thank God for the passion of these men…If I’m going to be persecuted, mocked, made fun of, called be it…For I’m not alone….Millions before me have faced the same sort of persecution and injustices…Why should I be any different…If anyone needs to come out of the closet…it’s Christian believers standing up and taking back our land; our once blessed, God-fearing land!  Evil will always reside upon planet Earth until the Lord comes back, but that doesn’t mean we sit idle and watch it control and consume our land…God forbid….

I believe in the Bible, and I consider myself an educated person holding a six-year Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision…Anyone can get a college degree if they have the opportunity and the willingness to do the hard work…Having a college degree doesn’t make me anything special, but it does assure that I am not backwards in my cognitive and reasoning abilities to NOT be able to read and choose clearly for myself what I do and do NOT believe in…I don’t need some politician telling me where I should and should not eat, nor do I need a president telling me that his children have friends whose parents are homosexuals, so that should make it right for the whole country!!!!  God forbid…I’ll just let the B-I-B-L-E do my talking for me!  And, when I go on my knees in spiritual battle, I have my King James Version in hand!  I may use other versions as I study, prepare, and expound upon the Word of God, but when it comes to praying and spiritual warfare, I get my trusted KJV; nothing else will do for me in the tough times; and times are getting tougher each day!  And, as far as formal education; some of the smartest and wisest people I know never made it pass the third-grade…Wisdom comes from God!  No teacher or professor can “teach” you that!

“Woe Unto Them…” Oh, Sweet Jesus, how I wish that ALL would believe and trust in your Mercy and Grace and come to know you as their own personal Savior and redeemer.  Oh, how I pray for my land; the land where I live and breath…But, you instructed your disciples to pray always for all man everywhere…And, I do pray this day O Lord to have mercy upon those who call evil good and good evil…For, they will have their day of judgment at the Great White Throne; IF they do not repent. God, help us all.  Amen.

Persecution…Alive and Well…

Persecution…Alive and Well…

“Yea, and ALL that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution”  (II Timothy 3:12 KJV)

For those of us who are professing Christians; especially for those of us living in the southeastern region of the United States, it has been a rather alarming week.  Atlanta-based company, and Christian-family owned, Chic-Fil-A,  (a fast food restaurant chain specializing in well-prepared and delicious tasting southern-fried chicken sandwiches) has come under extensive media and political attack as a result of its president, Dan Cathy, openly expressing his “personal” support for the Biblical definition of family.

Even though Christians have been martyred for centuries for their beliefs, it appears that modern-day Christians are becoming quite accustomed to being “persecuted,” “made-fun-of,” and “bullied” by the news media and political interest groups for our Biblical beliefs and stand, as well.  It seems that there is now a massive, nation-wide; if not global-wide, rally to silence any public statement, testimony, or comments that Christians may make in regard to, and support of, our Christian values and Biblical beliefs.

Actually, being “persecuted” is not anything “new” to a born-again believer in Christ Jesus….Let us not forget the burnings of Rome and the mass killings of early day believers…And, let us never forget our founder and leader himself, Jesus Christ, at Calvary… Yet; the Bible does teach us:  Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived…(II Timothy 3:13 KJV).  Lord, Have Mercy…

Fellow-Christian and UFL football player, Tim Tebow, received and withstood an unprecedented amount of ridicule from the news press and media, including talk-shows hosts such as Jay Leno and David Letterman, for his public display of Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  It appears that in our modern-day society that if anyone openly “testifies” of their faith in Jesus Christ, and the teachings of the Bible, that you are now considered the “punching bag” of society and its extreme ills.

What I find especially appalling to the response of Mr. Cathy’s personal remarks is the negative statement from Boston’s Massachusetts (one of America’s oldest cities) Mayor, Thomas Menino.  According to the Boston Herald, Menino stated that he,  “promises to block Chick-fil-A from opening a restaurant in Boston because of the anti-gay marriage comments that Dan Cathy, the company’s president, made in an interview.”

First of all, Dan Cathy, did NOT make any anti-gay marriage comments or remarks. He simply stated that he, personally, supports the Biblical definition for “family.”  After all, Dan Cathy, like thousands of other Bible-believing Christians support the Genesis account of creation and the Genesis account of the family.  Therefore, why should it be a surprise to the left-winged (or right-winged) public when a Christian believes the Bible!!!!  And, why should it be a surprise to a Christian when the left-winged (or right-winged) public announces boycott measures against a Christian-based company!!!

But, my question and concern is this….If “Chic-Fil-A” is not welcomed in Boston because of its owner and president’s personal beliefs in the Bible, does this mean that I, being a Christian, am NOT welcomed in Boston, as well?  If this is the case, maybe we, as Christians, should “vow” to boycott Boston!! I am quite certain that the city of Boston would suffer substantial financial loss should ALL Christians across our land “vow” to not visit Mr. Menino’s city!!

Even though I have faith that God will fight all of my spiritual battles for me, I also feel that as a citizen of the USA, I should be able to openly express my beliefs and values without being “bullied.”  If other personal interest groups and political figures such as our own current President can “boldly” express opinions against God’s Word and God’s teachings, then as a citizen of the same country (living “currently” in a free society) I should be able to openly express my opinion to honor, uphold, believe, and live according to God’ Word and God’s teachings.  To me, it should be just as illegal for Mr. Menino, as Mayor of Boston, to openly “discriminate” against Chic-Fil-A as it is for any company, business, or organization to discriminate against its customers, clients, or patrons.  I, personally believe that Mr. Menino owes Chic-Fil-A and EVERY Christian in the USA an apology!!!   Mr. Menino, I’m waiting…. (But, I won’t hold my breath!  I will just pray for you as the Bible teaches. (Pray for those who persecute you..Matthew 5:44.)

“But, continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them….For ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect (mature), throughly furnished unto all good works.” (II Timothy 3:14-17 KJV).

Note to Mr. Dan Cathy, I salute you and I thank you for your personal stand on the Word of God…May God continue to bless you and your family and keep His hand upon all you do.  Amen…

“Do It Anyway…”

“Do It Anyway…” By Lin T Rollins

This is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad therein…

Today is Sunday, July 22, 2012.  At 6:15 AM this morning, the skies over my house were  dotted with light, fluffy pink clouds with a beautiful blue sky in the background and radiant sun beams shinning through the horizon…breathtaking to say the least.

To look “up” at the sky this morning, one would think that planet Earth was all at peace; but we know that’s not the case. People all over our nation and globe are facing hard times, devastating times, uncertain times, fearful times, lonely times, and times of distress, sickness, pain, and loss….Right the opposite from what the early morning skies portrayed…

YET:  there’s always Hope within our hearts and lives…Not an earthly hope; not a man-made hope, but a Godly Hope that All is Well With My Soul…It’s not easy to always be cheerful, light-hearted, smiling and beaming with joy…Let’s face it…At times, it’s hard work…But, we learn to, “Do It Anyway…”   How? By being determined within our hearts and minds that this “life” is NOT all there is to living….

We have countless number of promises in God’s Word (the Bible) that we, as believers and followers of Christ Jesus, are Never alone…Nothing that comes within our lives do we need to face alone…We can cry out, and cry to, our loving Savior.  His arms are wide-open and extended for all of our tears, fears, and hurts…His burden is light…He knows our frame…He knows our heart…He knows when it is breaking into. He says, “Come unto me and I will give you rest for your weary soul.” (Matthew 11:28-30).

God doesn’t want us to walk around like “actors” pretending to be happy when we are not.  God doesn’t want us to walk around as if there’s nothing wrong when we both know there is…The book of Ecclesiastes teaches us that there is a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…( Ecc. 3:4  & 8 KJV)…A time to live; and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace… God knows; God understands.

Yet;  believing and leaning upon Jesus in ALL things takes real courage, and strength, and faith, and patience, and hope….So, we “Do It Anyway.”  Do what?  “Rejoice in the Lord and be glad therein (within our heart).”   Why?  Because we don’t know about tomorrow, but we know who holds our tomorrows and all of our todays…And, it is He who holds us that will one day wipe every tear from our eyes in the by-and-by…Who?  None other than God, himself…Amen. (Rev. 22).

So, today…”Do It Anyway.”  Praise the Lord and be glad “therein.”  You may be hurting, but deep down inside know and be assured that God is right there with you all the way…Let your heart feel his presence today…He knows. He cares. He understands.

Remember, God Loves You!

Good? Faithful?

Good?  Faithful?

“Knowing that whatsoever GOOD thing ANY man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free (saved, born-again; or lost) Ephesians 6:8

Did you know that it is easier at times to be good or “good” at something than it is to be “faithful?”  It is written in the book of Proverbs, “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness; but a faithful man who can find?” (Proverbs 20:6 KJV).  The Bible also teaches in I Corinthians 4:2, Moreover it is required in stewards (servants of the Lord), that a man be found faithful.

A quick trip to the dictionary will show that the word, “faithful” has more than one meaning.  It is often used to describe someone who is “filled” with faith in their religious beliefs and actions.  According to the book of Hebrews, chapter eleven verse one, biblical faith is defined as,  “Now, Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen.”   One can often hear a fellow believer encourage another believer by saying, “Keep the Faith.”  In other words, maintain an anchor of Hope in God when all around seems lost and hopeless. (Romans 8:28).

The word, “faithful,” can also mean one who is dedicated and trustworthy in their actions, deeds, and responsibilities.  Oh, how an employer loves to have a “faithful” employee!  And, a pastor loves to have a faithful congregation!  And, let’s not forget…a husband loves a faithful wife; as a wife loves a faithful husband!  Both the spiritual and secular world places a tremendous amount of value on one who is found to be “faithful.”

But, what about being, “good?”  The Bible teaches, “There is none good; no not one” (Romans 3:10).  (A rather hard truth for some to accept!)…As believers, we learn that God is Good and the only way a man can become “good” in God’s eyes is through the “righteousness” of God’s own Son, Jesus Christ.  However, the Bible also teaches that,  “All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”  In God’s eyes, our own “goodness” is as filthy rags….Any parent will confess that you do not have to teach your child to tell a lie.  Even a three-year-old with chocolate cookie all over his or her face will look right into the eyes of an adult and say, “No, I didn’t eat a cookie.”  Not being “good” is in our nature as a result of the fallen state of mankind in the Garden of Eden.  Thus, we all stand in need of our Savior, Christ Jesus. (John 3:16).

But, we can learn to do and live that which is “right” and “good” when our hearts are filled with God’s Word, love, acceptance, forgiveness, mercy, and grace.  However, from a secular perspective (non-religious), a person can also be “educated” and “trained” to perform well or to do good at certain tasks, expectations, and behaviors…But, here is the vast difference between being good and being faithful….One CANNOT be “educated,” “trained,” or “taught” to be Faithful…Faithfulness and being faithful is found deep within a person’s character, heart, and spirit; it is a matter of heart…

Most people are “faithful” to their jobs in order to get a paycheck!  Naturally;  we all want to eat, clothe ourselves, and have a roof over our heads!  Sadly, those who are not faithful at work tend to lose their jobs or careers somewhere down the road.  But, what about being “faithful” to a cause, belief, obligation, or another person?  This is when “faithfulness” becomes a manifestation of the inward heart of man.

How many times have we set out to be “faithful” to a particular “cause,” “obligation,” “responsibility,” “belief,” or to another person to only end up breaking our committment or loyalty?  In our society, it’s even hard to remain “faithful” while dieting!

We can all be “good” at times (Hopefully more good than bad!)…But, being faithful to something or to someone takes consistency, courage, dedication, will-power, self-discipline, and Love.  As humans, it requires a whole lot of discipline to be “faithful” to something or to someone who we do not love, like, or enjoy…Being “faithful” to something or someone we love just comes easier in life.

So, the next time we take a self-inventory list of ourselves and decide we have some pretty “good” qualities going on within our lives, let’s also examine how “faithful” we are to  those things that are most important in life…God, family, church, and service to others?  I hope the results of both are rewarding and one day we shall hear the mighty voice of God saying to us, “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”  (Matthew 25:23)  I pray to be both! Amen….

Remember, God Loves You.

Praying Always…

Praying Always…

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for ALL saints…” (Ephesians 5:18)

I recently added a dimension or layer to my prayer life. Since 1974, when God first started moving on my heart about prayer and service unto Him, I have always prayed for the needs of my family, friends, and church family as well as giving thanks and Praise unto God for his daily provisions, protection, promises, and power.

However, several weeks ago, I felt the Spirit say unto my heart, “Pray for ALL saints everywhere.”  Of course, down throughout the years I have prayed many times for All saints, missionaries, and those in leadership positions in our local, state, and national government.  But, this spiritual directive seemed more of an “urgency” and “need,” not simply a “here-and-there” prayer.  That night while reading through my Bible,  I also noticed more acutely how the Apostle Paul urged the early church to “pray” for ALL saints everywhere…I didn’t feel it was a coincidence, but rather a confirmation!

So, to be in obedience to the Spirit’s leading, I began to pray more specifically for ALL of my born-again brothers and sisters in Christ across the globe. I began to name each continent and ask God to bless and meet the needs of each Christian and to lend favor according to His mercy and grace.  As I added this daily layer of prayer for ALL saints everywhere, I began to feel a new passion and excitement in my heart and Spirit.  I began to feel “connected” to ALL of God’s children; not just the ones I know personally.  I began to be more aware that God is doing a mighty, purposeful work; his work, on planet Earth; not just within the boundaries of my life and the lives of those I love and cherish, but millions and millions of lives across the entire globe!

I am reminded that God’s church is a BIG church filled with people of all nations, tongues, and race.  His Spirit is meeting the daily needs of His children in ways that I know nothing about.  He is not only working in the USA, but all nations and lands.  I have “tunnel” vision…God has ALL VISION!

So, today, let your hearts soar with the eagles as you name each continent: Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Antarctica seeking God’s blessings and will for each Christian living in these places, as well as those living on the many islands throughout our planet…Oh, God is such a BIG God who wants his children to have a BIGGER vision of who He is and who His children are!  I have brothers and sisters in Christ all over this vast planet from the north to the south; and from the east unto the west….How Great is Our God!!!  Oh, How Great is Our God!  Father, I lift up every saint in every nation in Your Name; the name of Jesus Christ…Amen.   (The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much! James 5:17) Amen…

“Husbands, Love Your Wives…

“Husband, Love Your Wives…”

“Husband, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it…(Ephesians 5:25)

For the past several blogs, I have been writing about and expounding upon scriptures from the book of Ephesians; Paul’s letter to the Church at Ephesus.  A few days ago, I wrote about “Wives Submitting unto Your Own Husbands.”  Today’s scripture deal with husbands “loving” their own wives.

Interesting; isn’t it?  Wives are instructed to “submit,” and husbands are instructed to “love.”  Here’s a thought to ponder:  I suppose you can have “submission” without love, but hardly will you ever find “love” without some sort of submission!  Mmmmm.  I mean anyone can “make” themselves “submit” to another’s authority and/or rule; people do it everyday.  But, to truly “love” someone and demonstrate that “love” usually brings forth a, “How can I please you” attitude and frame of heart.  I mean, if a person really “loves” another person he or she will want to show it in all kinds of special, caring, nurturing, and submissive ways…

“”””But, wait a minute Sister Linda!!….You are wrong!  Husbands don’t submit to their wives. The wife is supposed to submit to the husband!””””  Oh, I can hear the slamming down of the computer tops and rushing of male-gender feet to get their KJV’s to erase any “false” teachings I might be implying here!!  BUT, wait a minute before you tar-and-feather me!! I did NOT say, type, or write (whichever verb you so desire to choose) that a man “submit” himself to his wife…I simply copied what the Apostle Paul stated when HE said and wrote, “Husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it…”   I’m just saying that “unconditional” love-from-the-heart manifests itself often in “giving of ones self,” or “pleasing” the one you love….After all, Jesus GAVE himself for His church and it certainly PLEASED the church; the Bride of Christ! Amen!

I must be; no I am, one of the most fortunate and blessed wives on the face of the earth…But, I also know that I am NOT the only one.  I see it all the time….Men who love their wives enough to “allow,” “permit,” and even encourage their wives to be happy with their own choices, plans, goals, or desires…(Now, I’m NOT totally crazy….No woman alive gets “her way” 100% of the times!!!  And, whether we, as women, want to admit it or not…we really don’t expect to! —But, “sh” we don’t want “them” (our husbands!) to find this out! LOL!)

But, then again I have “witnessed” men who would not “dare” to let their “little old lady” have a say-so in anything; especially inside the church or out in public in front of their peers, buddies, pals, and comrades!  Why that would NOT be scriptural according to these strong-willed, self-determined, enlightened, smarter-than-the-average-bear, and masculine men-of-men!!!  You know the ones I’m referring…Men who shout-out or bark, “Hey, get that kid; he’s crying again!”  Men who say, “Well, if she was my wife I’d tell you what I’d do, I put her in her place in a heartbeat!”  Or, “I’m the head of my household and no woman gonna tell me what to do!”…..Just to list a few!

See, having lived in the position of being a Pastor’s wife for many years, I have witnessed and encountered “all” kinds of interpretations of “this” particular scripture…But, to be perfectly honest, when things are lined up right in the home as well as the heart the roles to “submit” and to “love” come naturally without needing a script or bumper sticker to be reminded!

“Love,” real love (I Corinthians 13 Love), Godly love, just naturally “submits” one to another!!!  Mind you, I do NOT always get my way (and, I don’t expect to)…and my husband doesn’t always demand his way!  Sometimes, we even use little reminders such as, “I picked the restaurant last time so where do you want to go tonight?”  And, sometimes the answer might simply be, “I’d like to stay home and eat a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich with chips and a pickle!”  (Anyone who is from the South knows you can’t beat a BLT in the summertime with a cold glass of iced-tea!)

So, why do you think God instructed the “man” to “LOVE” the wife?  Because, to me, there is nothing more beautiful, appealing, humbling, and attractive than watching an older gentleman opening a door and honoring his lovely bride of 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 years! You can see how he cherishes her in the twinkle of his eyes.  He’s patient.  He’s kind.  He’s courteous.  He’s doting…And, believe me the man is NOT hen-pecked!!!  He is demonstrating a “godly” love towards his spouse….He’s a true gentleman who carries the “love” for his wife in his heart everywhere he goes.  You won’t find him standing around the water-cooler cracking “wife” jokes!  And, you won’t find his wife sitting around in a circle of ladies “bashing” their husbands!  They have “learned” the secret to “love” and “submission.”  Through “submitting” one to another…God’s true intentions for the church; the Bridegroom of Christ.

I believe if our society witnessed more of these idealistic scenes that they could understand the whole concept of the “church” age a little better!  A little piece of Heaven on earth!  So, to all these “I”m the man of the house and boss around here!”  You may get your wifely “submission fix,” sometimes even with a gentle smile, but what you won’t get is the authentic deeper love and respect you think you rightfully deserve!  Because, as I stated in the beginning…”You can submit without love, but you can’t love without showing signs of submission!” (in a good way!)…..

Remember, God Loves You!
