My God Reigns…My God Reigns

My God Reigns! With so much confusion, trials, and concerns within the world, it’s settling to know that My God Reigns!  (Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. (Psalm 67:5 KJV).  And, one day God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4 KJV).

Yes, our God is victorious over every tear that has ever fallen from our eyes. The Bible clearly teaches that He bottles up our tears. But, one day He will wipe them all away; for there will be no more crying; the former things are passed away!

God is victorious over death; because death shall pass away. (Just think we will never have to attend the funeral of a loved one ever again! Praise the Lord!) God is victorious over sorrow; because there will be no more sorrow.  God is victorious over crying; because crying will pass away.  And, in that day (that glorious day!) neither shall there be any more pain…Did you see that?!  No more pain.

Oh, my friend, today, you and I have so many friends and loved ones suffering in such intense pain; those suffering from cancer and other illnesses that inflict our bodies.  You may be suffering today.  God be with you.  Children and adults alike are dying from starvation.  Oh, how intense their pains must be!

There are also others who are suffering mental pain and emotional abuse.  Oh, the pain that is inflicted upon this present world.  But, one day all the “former things are passed away.”   Passed Away!  How? Because our God Reigns.  And, one day the “curse” of all these things will be passed away and forever gone from our lives.

Aren’t you glad today to know that we have HOPE in a future where the “former things will be passed away!”  Isaiah 40:31 states, “But they that wait upon the Lord (Are you waiting upon Him this morning?) shall renew their strength (we will be strong!); they shall mount up with wings as eagles (we will soar!); they shall run (no one will be feeble or weak anymore!), and not be weary (all of our burdens will be gone!), and they shall walk (in full assurance!), and not faint (no more sorrow; no more pain!)   My God Reigns…Yes, My God Reigns!

No matter what you may be facing today, rest assured that “all” the former things will one day pass away and we will mount up with wings as eagles.  We can find Hope and Blessed Assurance in the Words of God; His precious Word; the Bible.  If you do not know God, through Jesus Christ, as the ruler of your life, won’t you please call upon His name today. (For Salvation, I suggest reading from the Book of Romans, chapter 10).

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, we adore you this morning for we know that one day You will wipe all the tears from our eyes and we shall live and reign with You forever more.  Today, may our hearts be uplifted in thee.  Forgive us, Lord, of any unbelief that may hold us back from receiving your Promises.  We thank you for Grace and Mercy and for thy Son; thy precious Son, Jesus Christ who took my sins and the sins of the whole world upon his own shoulders to Calvary’s cross in my place. We ask you Lord to be with those who are in great need today. Those who are suffering in pain, sickness, and sorrow.. Those who have grown weary. May their hope be renewed in You. May they celebrate the reign of Christ Jesus.  And, I pray for those who may be hanging in the balance;  those who have not as of yet called upon your Name to save them from all their sins and give them life anew.  May they call upon you today, before it is everlasting too late.  Grant these things, we ask, in they Precious Name; the name of Jesus. Amen.

My God Reigns…Yes My God Reigns.

Remember God Loves You!
